MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's swimming & diving team won five events but Montclair State University came away with 191-1107 victory over the Rangers on Saturday in F.M. Kirby Pool on Saturday.
For the second week in a row, junior
Katerina Poulathas swept the distance events, winning the 1,000-freestyle (10:58.75) and the 500-freestyle (5:25.73). She also placed second in the 200-butterfly (2:20.71).
Senior
Amira Hadri added a victory in the 100-freestyle (55.91) and was second in the 50-freestyle (25.30). Junior
Sam Trodick contributed a win in the 200-breaststroke (2:32.66) and runner-up showings in both the 100-breaststroke (1:10.05) and 200-IM (2:17.28) while the 200-freestyle relay team of Hadri, senior
Charlotte Wells, Poulathas, and sophomore
Kaitlyn Zayle prevailed in 1:43.53. Sophomore
Ece Onatca also placed second in the 200-backstroke (2:17.43).
The Rangers continue their season Nov. 3-4 at the NYU Invitational.
