TOWSON, Md. – Freshman Aina Sjoblom has earned the Landmark Conference Women's Swimming & Diving award.

Sjoblom turned in an impressive collegiate debut, winning both of her individual events and helping the Rangers sweep the relays in a loss at Landmark Conference foe Catholic University in the team's season opener this past Saturday. Individually, she touched first in both the 100-backstroke (59.22) and the 100-butterfly (59.07), and her times in both events are currently the fastest in the Landmark Conference.

In addition, Sjoblom swam on the winning 200-medley relay (1:51.15) and anchored the winning 200-freestyle relay (1:42.36), helping both relays to conference-leading times.

The Rangers continue their season on Friday, when they host York (Pa.) College in a dual meet starting at 5 p.m.
