The Drew University women's swimming & diving team will turn to a solid core of returning athletes and a promising first-year class to lead the way during the 2026-27 campaign.
Under the direction of 12th-year Head Coach
Rich Munson, the Rangers return five team members who scored at last year's Landmark Conference Championships, where Drew finished in third place.
Sophomore
Adriana Scanga is Drew's top returning individual finisher at last year's conference meet, where she placed fourth in the 100-butterfly and fifth in the 200-butterfly. She also swam on the 400-medley relay team that claimed the silver.
Three additional Rangers are back after reaching the championship final at last year's Landmark Championship, including junior
Ellis Murray, who came in sixth in the 200-backstroke and seventh in the 200-IM. She picked up additional team points in the consolation finals with a ninth-place showing in the 100-backstroke. Murray also swam on the 200-medley relay that captured runner-up honors.
Senior
Ana McDonald also returns after placing seventh in the 3-meter diving last season while sophomore
Molly Loughlin is back after finishing eighth in the 100-backstroke and 14th in the 50-freestyle. Loughlin was also a member of the 200-freestyle relay team that placed second and the 400-freestyle relay squad that took the bronze.
Junior
Morgan Wilson returns as well after scoring for the Rangers in both the 200-breastroke (11th) and the 100-breaststroke (14th) a year ago.
Seven first-year swimmers will also bolster the roster this season in
Maria Corazon Batallones (breaststroke/sprint freestyle),
Mareena Ferraiuolo (butterfly/freestyle/backstroke),
Annika Hogger (sprint freestyle/backstroke),
Lily Jeffers (IM/butterfly/distance freestyle),
Shannon Reddington (sprint freestyle/butterfly/breaststroke),
Aina Sjoblom (butterfly/backstroke), and
Maya Villahermosa (breaststroke).
The Rangers open their season on Friday, when they visit Landmark Conference opponent Catholic University at 2:30 p.m. Drew's home opener is set for Oct. 23 versus York (Pa.) College.
