Fall 2023 Landmark Conference All-Sportsmanship Team

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has announced its Fall All-Sportsmanship Team for the 203-24 season, and included among the 67 honorees are six Drew University student-athletes.
 
Junior Lauren Cagliostro was the Rangers' representative in field hockey for the third time after also being chosen in each of the last two seasons while senior Lauren Geiger represented the women's soccer team for the second year in a row. In addition, sophomore Gaetano Allegri of the men's cross country team, sophomore Teeya Desgoutte of the women's volleyball team, senior Virginia Gaylord of the women's cross country team, and senior David Hoyt of the men's soccer team were all first-time All-Sportsmanship Team selections.
 
Created by the Landmark Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in 2013-14, the All-Sportsmanship Team is represented by one student-athlete per sport, chosen by the players and coaches on their respective team. It honors those student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship and are making a difference both on and off the field. These student-athletes demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory and respectfulness in defeat. They're ambassadors for their teams and galvanize their teammates while also exhibiting respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, spectators and the greater campus community.
