It was a defensive battle in the first quarter, when Moravian outscored the Rangers 9-6. After the hosts pushed their lead to six in the second quarter, Drew climbed back into it with a 7-2 spurt that made it a one-point game (16-15) following a 3-pointer from Morgan with 4:55 on the clock.

The Greyhounds came back to push their lead to seven, only to see the Rangers answer again. Freshman guard Alice Altomare and junior guard Izzy Lalo connected for back-to-back 3-pointers, making it 23-21 with 1:24 showing, and Moravian led 27-24 at the break.

Drew trailed by only four midway through the third quarter before Moravian opened up a gap with a 10-2 run. The 'Hounds led 46-36 at the end of the period, then used a 10-4 run early in the fourth quarter to open up a 15-point advantage. Moravian would lead by at least 13 the rest of the way.
