ITHACA, N.Y. – The Drew University men's tennis team earned a victory in both singles and doubles play but came up on the short end of a 7-2 decision at Ithaca College in its first match of the spring semester on Sunday.

Avi Perera and
Bret Schuler teamed up for an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles for the Rangers (1-1) while senior
Leo Ambrogio and junior
Daryl Wong battled to a tiebreaker before falling 8-7 (7-5). In singles play, Wong captured a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 4.
Drew is back in action Feb. 25-26, when it hosts the Ranger Invitational Doubles Tournament.
