WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – After playing five straight home matches, the Drew University men's volleyball team returned to the road on Thursday evening but lost by a 3-0 count at Wilkes University.

The Colonels won by scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-20.

Sophomore C.J. Addeo threw down seven kills for the Rangers, who were playing without their two setters for the second match in a row. Sophomore Jacob Sledz and freshman Tynoah Ehia handed out 14 and seven assists, respectively, while filling in at setter while sophomore Bryan Do recorded six digs.

Jackson Shafer paced Wilkes (12-4) with 13 kills.

The Colonels never trailed in the first two sets but the Rangers jumped out to a 4-0 lead to begin the final period. Wilkes came back to take the lead at 7-6, but Drew kept it close the rest of the way and trailed just 19-18 after a kill from Sledz. But Wilkes ended the match on a 5-2 run.
