MADISON, N.J. – Drew and Scranton played to a 2-2 tie in the first quarter, but the Royals pulled away over the final three periods to hand the Rangers a 20-6 setback in Landmark Conference women's lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon at a hot, sunny Ranger Stadium.
Junior

Molly McCarren and Kayleigh Stalter scored four goals each for Scranton (6-7, 3-1 LC) while Lauren Boldis made 10 saves over the first three quarters.
The Royals scored the game's opening goal before Champigny struck twice over 36 seconds, making it a 2-1 game with 8:44 left in the first quarter. But Stalter scored on a free-position shot with 6:28 on the clock and it was a 2-2 game at the end of the stanza.
Scranton went back in front with the first two goals of the second quarter before Barrett found paydirt to make it 4-3 in favor of the Royals. After the Royals again posted back-to-back tallies, Champigny tossed in her final goal of the day and it was a 6-4 game with 8:36 left in the half.
The Royals pulled away from there, however, scoring the last five goals of the half to assume an 11-4 lead at the break. Scranton broke it open in the third quarter, when it outscored Drew 6-0.
The Rangers scored back-to-back goals in the fourth quarter, with senior
