Â
It was a pitcher's duel early on between DeGiglio and Juniata's Chase Allessandroni. Each allowed just four hits over the first five innings, when the Rangers led 2-1.
The two sides found their offense in the last four innings, when they combined to score 18 runs.

Â
The Rangers were quick to strike back, however, putting up a five-spot in the seventh to reclaim the lead at 9-7. Sophomore
Raiden Yost ripped a two-run single to make it a one-run game before Miller followed up with his second double of the game. Hernandez then singled up the middle to score a pair, giving the Blue and Green their two-run lead.
Â
Juniata responded in the bottom of the inning with four runs on four hits and a pair of walks runs to go in front 11-9.
Â
As they did throughout the weekend, the Rangers rallied once again and nearly pulled even in the ninth. Hernandez reached on an error before Coleman singled him home to make it a one-run game. Freshman
Kyle Johnson then reached on an infield single to put runners on first and second with two outs before classmate
Thomas Zammitti stepped to the plate and singled, but the potential tying run was thrown out at the plate to end the game.
Â
The Rangers continue their season on Wednesday, when they host The City College of New York in a non-conference matchup at 3:30 p.m.
