Drew scored six consecutive goals to end the first quarter, with Simmons and Nealley tossing in two apiece and the Rangers led 6-1. They scored five more to assume their 12-1 advantage, with Emma DiPatri and Champigny striking once each.

Kean stopped the bleeding with 2:27 left in the half but Barrett netted what turned out to the first of three straight goals for Drew.
