LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - This past Saturday, freshman Alyx Swope-Bell of the Drew University equestrian team placed second in intermediate fences at the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Associatoin (IHSA) Region 3 Championships at the Crosswinds Equestrian Center and qualified for the IHSA Zone 3 Championships.

Bell-Swope will compete at the championship this coming Saturday at the Centenary Equestrian Center in Long Valley, New Jersey, where she will be seeking a bid to the IHSA National Championships on May 4-7 in Lexington, Kentucky.
