TOWSON, Md. – The Drew University men's tennis team earned a 7-2 victory at Goucher College on Saturday in a rematch of last year's Landmark Conference championship match.
The Rangers (9-3, 5-0 LC) have now won their last six matches, with the last five all coming in conference play and remain undefeated in Landmark action. In addition, they have won 21 consecutive Landmark Conference regular-season matches dating back to the 2019 season.
Drew began its victory over the Gophers, who won last year's conference final 5-4, by jumping to a 2-1 lead after winning at both No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Senior

Daryl Wong Li-Hom captured an 8-5 victory before at the top spot before seniors
Leo Ambrogio and
Bret Schuler cruised to an 8-1 win at No. 3.
Drew went on to win at Nos. 1, 6, and 2 singles to push their lead to 5-1, clinching the match. Perera won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 before senior
John Dickey prevailed 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6. Wong Li-Hom's three-set victory (6-3, 3-6, 6-2) at No. 2 gave the Rangers the win.
Two additional Rangers also won in three sets. Ambrogio rallied for a dramatic victory at No. 3, winning 5-7, 7-6 (7-5), 10-2, while junior
Santo Carroccia posted a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 win at No. 5.
Drew is back in action on Monday, when they host Baruch at 4 p.m. and Rowan College of Gloucester County at 5 p.m. in a pair of non-conference matches.
