HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Drew University men's volleyball team closed out its second season as a varsity program by traveling to Juniata College for a tri-match.
The Rangers lost 3-0 to both Elmira College and Juniata, which entered the match ranked No. 3 in Division III.
Versus Elmira (13-8), sophomore
Ephraim Smith led the Rangers with nine kills while classmate
Jacob Sledz posted seven kills and six digs. Senior
Furat Alhayek, competing in the next-to-last match of his career, threw down a career-high five blocks (two solo) while sophomore
Bryan Do scooped 11 digs. Sophomore
Huriel Perez handed out 24 assists.
Against Juniata (27-2), Smith and Sledz each notched seven kills while Perez distributed 16 assists.
