TOWSON, Md. – The Drew University women's tennis team defeated Goucher College 7-2 on Saturday to stay undefeated in Landmark Conference play.
The Rangers (10-2, 5-0 LC) captured their 14th straight victory over a Landmark Conference opponent and their 12th consecutive Landmark Conference regular-season win.
Drew opened by sweeping the doubles points. Sophomore

Sofiya Lebedeva won 8-1 at No. 1 before sophomore

Danielle DelRosso captured an 8-6 victory at No. 3. Senior
Sanne Bloemendaal and junior
Melina Christodoulou then won in a tiebreaker at No. 2 to give the Rangers a 3-0 lead.
Drew is now 15-0 in doubles over its five Landmark Conference matches this season.
The Gophers won at No. 6 singles to cut the deficit to 3-1, but Drew went on to prevail at No. 1 and No. 3 to clinch the match. Lebedeva breezed to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 before Kalorin earned a 6-1, 6-3 triumph at No. 3 to hand the Rangers the win.
Drew also received a 7-5, 6-3 victory from DelRosso at No. 5 while Bloemendaal rallied to win in a nailbiter, 2-6, 7-6, 10-5.
Bloemendaal (5-0), Lebedeva (4-0), Kalorin (4-0), and DelRosso (3-0) all remained unbeaten in conference singles action while Drew improved to 26-4 overall in Landmark Conference singles play.
The Rangers return to the court on Monday, when they host Baruch College at 4 p.m. in a non-conference match.
