GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Drew University women's soccer team lost by a final of 5-1 at Stockton University in a non-conference affair and a match played in extreme heat Wednesday afternoon.
The Rangers (1-2) received a goal from junior
Kat Kugler, who converted off an assist from classmate
Isabella Grof-Tisza in the 86th minute.
The Ospreys (2-0-1) scored twice in the opening half, then tacked on three tallies over a 12-minutes stretch early in the second period.
Grof-Tisza led the Rangers with three shots while freshman
Sarah Crowley registered three saves.
Drew returns to play on Saturday, when it hosts Coast Guard at 3:30 p.m. on the first day of the Drew Fall Festival.
