TOWSON, Md. – The Drew University women's swimming & diving won 13 of 14 events and earned a 191-51 victory at Landmark Conference foe Goucher College on Saturday.
Competing for the first time since the Ranger Invitational on Dec. 1-2, Drew picked up its first dual-meet victory of the season, improving to 1-3.
Sophomore
Ece Onatca, junior
Sam Trodick, and senior
Charlotte Wells won two events apiece for the Rangers. Onatca won the 100-backstroke (1:04.29) and the 100-butterfly (1:05.71), Trodick prevailed in the 1,000-freestyle (11:33.02) and the 200-backstroke (2:19.83), and Wells touched first in the 100-freestyle (56.89) and 200-IM (2:26.45).
Earning one victory each were senior
Amira Hadri in the 500-freestyle (5:53.74), junior
Katerina Poulathas in the 200-butterfly (2:30.41), senior
Emilie Tobin in the 200-freestyle (2:11.88), sophomore
Sarah Weber in the 200-breaststroke (2:44.32), and sophomore
Kaitlyn Zayle in the 50-freestyle (27.24).
In the relays, Hadri, freshman
Natalie Koenn, Onatca, and Zayle teamed up to win the 400-medley in 4:22.73 while Hadri, Wells, Poulathas, and senior
Megan Slater prevailed in the 400-freestyle (3:58.30).
The Rangers close out their dual-meet schedule next Saturday, when they host the University of Scranton at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
