BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Seven different Rangers scored in double figures and the Drew University men's basketball team rode a fast start to an 81-67 Landmark Conference victory at Moravian University Wednesday evening.
Sophomore forward
David Musial posted 17 points and 13 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season for the Rangers, who closed the first half on a 14-4 run to open up a 12-point advantage at the break. Drew would not trail for the remainder of the game.
The Rangers (17-3, 10-3 LC), who won their fourth game in a row, have now registered the best 20-game record in team history and remain in third place in the Landmark Conference standings.

Pat Higgins added 12 points for the Rangers while five different players – sophomore forward

Peso Crump, junior guard
Josh Kline, senior guard
Andrew Turco, and freshman guard
Eli Yusavage – scored 10 points each.
Gary Francis led the Greyhounds (7-13, 3-10 LC) with 20 points.
After four ties and seven lead changes over the first 11 minutes, the Rangers went in front to stay on a 3-pointer from Kline with 8:30 left in the opening half. However, Moravian trailed just 31-29 with 5:35 remaining before Drew's aforementioned 14-4 surge. Six different players scored during the stretch, which started with a Turco 3-pointer and a dunk from Crump. Musial capped it with a conventional 3-point play to put the Rangers up 45-33 at the half.
The Rangers continued to pull away early in the second half, opening on an 11-4 run to go up by 19 with 15:35 left. Turco started the outburst with five straight points before Musial drained back-to-back triples.
Drew led by as much as 22 after a 3-ball from Cronin with 12:39 remaining, but Moravian answered with a 13-2 run to cut the deficit in half at 65-54 with 9:55 showing. But Kline answered with a 3-pointer for the Rangers and the hosts were unable to get closer than 11 the rest of the way.
The Rangers continue their season on Saturday, when they host Landmark Conference foe Juniata College at 2 p.m. on Senior Day.
