MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The Drew University men's swimming & diving team won four events but lost by a 181-107 count at Montclair State University on Saturday.
Leading the way for the Rangers was sophomore
Nicholas Heinio-Widell, who touched first in both the 100-freestyle (48.31) and the 100-butterfly (52.61).
Adding one individual win apiece were sophomore
Kyle Talerico in the 200-butterfly (1:58.37) and freshman
Hunor Harsanyi in the 200-breaststroke (2:13.21).
The Rangers also received runner-up performances from Heinio-Widell in the 50-freestyle (22.04), sophomore
Liam Gregory in the 1,000-freestyle (10:20.31), freshman
Thiago Silva in the 100-breaststroke (1:01.51), sophomore
Santiago Rubio Marrodan in the 1-meter diving (147.00), junior
Ricky Kilichowski in the 200-backstroke (2:04.17), freshman
Issac Jeffers in the 500-freestyle (5:01.10), and senior
Yan Zheng Lew in the 200-IM (2:03.75).
Drew returns to action Nov. 1-2 at the NYU Invitational.
