MADISON, N.J. – Drew University is proud to announce its new partnership with
Chi Alpha Sigma, an organization dedicated to recognizing college student-athletes who excel in athletics, academics, and community involvement.
Chi Alpha Sigma was founded in 1996 by former DePauw University head football coach Nick Mourouzis. His vision was to connect high-achieving student-athletes through a national honor society, aligning their educational and athletic accomplishments for lifelong impact. Today, Chi Alpha Sigma boasts over 360 active chapters across all divisions of college athletics in the United States.
Drew student-athletes of junior standing or higher with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above are now eligible for induction into the National College Athlete Honor Society. Inducted students will also be eligible for national awards and postgraduate scholarships offered by Chi Alpha Sigma.
Drew will induct its first Chi Alpha Sigma class this spring.
The Landmark Conference currently has all 10 members as
active Chi Alpha Sigma chapters.
