MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's tennis team kicked off a busy four-day stretch with a match versus Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University on Thursday in the Simon Forum.
The Knights, who finished 14-8 and reached the Northeast Conference final a year ago, won by a 9-0 final.
Drew's closest match came at No. 1 singles, where sophomore
Jesse Faro forced a tiebreaker but ultimately lost by a 6-3, 1-6, 10-2 count.

Daniel Arcari registered the Rangers' closest score in doubles as well as FDU prevailed 8-4.
The Rangers continue their season on Saturday and Sunday with the Ranger Invitational doubles tournament back in the Simon Forum.
