UNION, N.J. – Senior
Lizzy Barrett scored her 200th career point, but the Drew University women's lacrosse team was edged 16-15 in overtime in a non-conference matchup at Kean University on Wednesday.
Barrett reached her milestone when she scored a goal with 4:48 left in the first half, and she finished the day with five goals and one assist.

Emma DiPatri added three goals and one assist for Drew (4-4) while sophomore

Ella Champigny contributed two goals, one assist, and four ground balls while freshman
Grace Patane also netted a pair of tallies. First-year
Paige Shaw added seven saves for the Rangers.
Kylie Giordano scored eight goals for Kean (4-4), including the game-winner just over a minute into overtime.
The game was extended by 30 minutes at halftime due to a lightning delay.
Kean bolted to a 4-1 first-quarter lead, only to see the Rangers erupt for 11 goals over the second and third quarters. Drew outscored Kean 6-4 in the second quarter to pull within 8-7 at halftime, receiving two goals apiece from Barrett and DiPatri in the period.
The Rangers pulled even at 12-12 heading into the third quarter after outscoring the Cougars 5-4 in the stanza, when it received five goals from five players.
Each side tossed in three goals in the fourth quarter, and Kean went up 15-14 before Barrett pulled the Rangers even when she struck with 3:24 remaining. But neither team scored again until Giordano's game-winner.
The Rangers play their Landmark Conference opener on Saturday, when they host Susquehanna University starting at 1 p.m.
