MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's tennis team registered a 5-2 victory over Lycoming College in its season, home, and Landmark Conference opener on Saturday at the Drew Tennis Complex.
The victory gave first-year Head Coach
Geoffrey Diehl C'21 his first women's tennis win.
With the triumph, the Rangers extended their winning streak versus Landmark Conference opponents to 30 and have now won their last 25 Landmark Conference regular-season matches.
The three-time defending conference champions opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point. Senior

Sophie Weaver teamed up for a 6-3 victory at No. 1, senior

Jada Worthem prevailed 6-2 at No. 2, and junior
Nora Kosch and sophomore
Danielle Pettoni won 6-4 at No. 3.
In singles play, junior
Natalia Zamora won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 while sophomore
Riley Roesel captured an identical 6-3, 6-4 decision at No. 2. Pettoni added a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 3 while Parisi won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5.
The Rangers compete for the second day in a row when they visit Hartwick College on Sunday in a non-conference tilt starting at 1 p.m.
