ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Drew University women's tennis team lost by a score of 5-2 at Hartwick College in a non-conference affair Sunday afternoon.
Competing for the second day in a row, the Rangers (1-1) won a pair of singles matches. Senior
Mary Kalorin rallied for a 3-6, 7-6, 10-8 win at the No. 1 position while junior
Natalia Zamora won by retirement at No. 3 after winning 6-4 in the opening set and leading 4-1 in the second.
Sophomore
Danielle Pettoni also came from behind to force a third set but lost 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 at No. 5.
The Rangers close out the fall season on Sunday, Oct. 13, when they host FDU-Florham and Pratt starting at 9 a.m.
