ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Drew University men's volleyball team lost a pair of matches on the second and final day of the Battle for the Boardwalk on Saturday.
The Rangers opened the day with a 3-0 loss to No. 19-ranked Lasell University, then dropped a 3-1 decision to Rivier University.
Lasell won by scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-17 before Rivier captured a 25-13, 25-21, 17-25, and 25-16 decision.

Matthew Adegbite led Drew with eight kills while senior
Ephraim Smith tallied six kills. Freshman
Quinn Donahue handed out 17 assists.

Michael Shipman led the Rangers with 10 digs apiece versus Rivier while juniors
Jason Barbosa and
Andrew DuHaime finished with nine and eight kills, respectively. Donahue distributed 16 assists while senior
Huriel Perez added 12 assists, and senior
Bryan Do recorded 12 digs.
The Rangers continue their season on Tuesday, when they visit New Jersey City University in a non-conference tilt starting at 7 p.m.
