Women’s Swimming & Diving Closes Dual-Meet Schedule at Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa. – The Drew University women's swimming & diving team concluded its dual-meet schedule at the University of Scranton on Saturday, and the Royals came away with a 210-82 decision.
 
Freshmen Kyra Gorman and Ellis Murray led the way for the Rangers with one individual victory apiece. Gorman touched first in the 100-freestyle (55.18) as did Murray in the 100-backstroke (1:00.03).
 
Gorman added runner-up finishes in both the 50-freestyle (25.31) and the 200-freestyle (1:57.09) as did senior Emilie Tobin in the 200-breaststroke (2:31.88) and the 200-IM (2:16.85). Contributing one additional second-place finish were Murray in the 100-freestyle (55.23), junior Ece Onatca in the 200-backstroke (2:12.17), and senior Sam Trodick in the 100-breaststroke (1:10.94).
 
The Rangers, who finished 2-3 in dual-meets for the season, compete at the four-day Landmark Conference Championship Feb. 13-16 at Loyola University's Mangione Aquatic Center in Baltimore.
