ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown College pulled away in the second half en route to a 9-2 victory over the Drew University field hockey team Wednesday evening.

After a scores opening quarter, the Blue Jays (7-9, 4-3 LC) netted a pair of goals in the second half to assume a 2-0 halftime lead.

The hosts extended their lead to 6-0 in the third quarter before the Rangers (14-3, 4-3 LC) stemmed the rally with a pair of tallies early in the final period. Sophomore
Emily Caporrino scored an unassisted tally with 9:44 remaining for her ninth goal of the season. Junior
Liriana Seferovic followed up with eight minutes remaining, taking a feed from freshman
Bella Fini and potting her seventh goal of the season.

Elizabethtown closed the game with three goals in the last four minutes.
