YORK, Pa. – The Drew University women's swimming & diving team traveled to York (Pa.) College in a dual meet Friday evening and were handed a 121-62 setback by the host Spartans.
Sophomore
Ellis Murray and freshman
Adriana Scanga captured one victory apiece for the Rangers. Murray touched first in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:01.69, and she led a 1-2 Ranger finish in the event, as senior
Ece Onatca took second in 1:04.22. Scanga won by over three seconds in the 100-butterfly, clocking a 1:01.68.
Murray also captured the 100-IM in an exhibition event, clocking a 1:04.08. In addition, she took second in the 200-freestyle in 2:06.39.
Also placing second were seniors
Sarah Weber in the 200-IM (2:28.11) and
Kaitlyn Zayle in the 50-freestyle (26.55).
Drew picks up its schedule Nov. 7-8 with the NYU Invitational.
