TOWSON, Md. – For the third time this year and the sixth time in her career, sophomore Josephine Nguyen has captured the Landmark Conference Women's Golf Athlete of the Week award.
 
Nguyen earned medalist honors at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview, shooting a 10-over-par 154 (78-76) for a five-stroke victory. She finished the tournament shooting even-par on 25 of 36 holes to go with one birdie en route to her second win of the season. Her efforts helped the Rangers placed third in the team standings.
 
For the fall, Nguyen averaged a 77.3 over nine rounds and five events.
 
The Rangers will continue their season in March with the spring portion of their schedule.
