TOWSON, Md. – A trio of Rangers were named to the All-Landmark Conference Field Hockey Team, conference officials announced Wednesday.

Sophomore forward Emily Caporrino, sophomore midfielder Ellie Kopec, and freshman forward Bella Fini all captured second-team status.

In addition, Fini was recognized as the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year.

It was the first career all-conference award for Caporrino and Kopec, who along with Fini helped lead the Rangers to an outstanding season. The team put together a record of 13-6, marking the squad's highest victory total and best winning percentage (.556) since the 2013 season. In addition, Drew finished 5-4 in Landmark Conference play to earn the team's second consecutive berth in the conference's championship tournament. As the No. 4 seed, the team was awarded a home postseason game for the first time in 12 years.

Fini became the fourth conference rookie of the year in team history but just the second in the Landmark Conference era, joining Michelle Pozyc C'18, who received the award in 2014. She turned in an outstanding debut this past season in which she led the Rangers in goals (14), assists (five), and points (33). Among the Landmark Conference leaders, she is currently fourth in goals per game (0.70) and fifth in points per game (1.65) and leads the league in game-winning goals (six). She posted the most goals and points by a Ranger since the 2013 campaign.

In just her fourth game as a Ranger, Fini posted her first collegiate hat trick with three goals and one assist in an 8-2 win over William Paterson. She duplicated the feat just two games later, scoring all three of her team's goals including the overtime game-winner in a 3-2 victory at Eastern. Her efforts earned her national recognition as the NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week. Fini also scored both of her team's goals in a Landmark Conference win over Wilkes University, and she scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 conference victory at Goucher.

Caporrino also made her mark as a prolific scorer this past season, finishing second among the Rangers in goals (11), assists (four, tied), and points (26). A two-time Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week, she also ranks fifth in the Landmark Conference in goals per game (0.65) and is tied for second in the conference in game-winning goals (five). In her top offensive output, she racked up two goals and two assists in the victory over William Paterson. She also scored two goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime, in a 3-2 victory at Western Connecticut, and she tallied both of Drew's goals in a 2-1 Landmark Conference win over Juniata.

Kopec registered eight points this past season on two goals and four assists, which tied her for second on the team. She scored what held up as the game-winning goal and assisted on another in Drew's 2-1 victory at King's in its season opener, and she followed up with another goal in the team's next game, a 5-1 win at Manhattanville. In addition, she provided the assist on the game-winning goal in a Landmark Conference win over Moravian.
