WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Drew University baseball team lost by a final of 5-0 at Lycoming College in its series finale with the Warriors on Sunday.

Three Warriors combined on a three-hitter, including starter A.J. Llorente, who tossed 7 2/3 innings while allowing just three hits and one walk while striking out four.

Lycoming (14-9, 6-2 LC) took the lead with one run on a pair of singles in the second, and it held up as enough offense. The Warriors went on the push across singles runs in the third, fifth, sixth, and seventh innings.

Drew's best scoring opportunity came in the seventh, when freshman
Zach Maxwell worked a one-out walk before moving to third on a single from fifth-year
Anthony Hernandez. But that's when Llorente turned a 6-4-3 double play to escape the jam.

Senior
Matt Colucci started on the mound for Drew and pitched 4 1/3 innings, striking out four while allowing three runs (two earned). Freshman
Nicholas Garbooshian worked the final 3 2/3, yielding two runs and striking out one.

The Rangers continue their Landmark Conference schedule on Tuesday, when they visit Moravian University in a single game starting at 3:30 p.m.
