HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Drew University men's tennis team won the doubles point before capturing four out of six singles matches en route to a 5-2 Landmark Confere ce victory at Juniata College Sunday afternoon.
Junior
Jesse Faro, sophomore
Daniel Arcari, and freshman
Dikshan Chhikara won at both doubles and singles for the Rangers (7-7, 4-2 LC).
In doubles action, Arcari and Faro teamed up for a 6-2 victory at No. 1 while Chhikara and junior
Shivi Perera won by an identical score at No. 2.
Faro added a 6-4, 7-6 victory at No. 1 singles while Arcari prevailed in three sets, winning 7-5, 5-7, 6-4.
Additional singles wins were turned in by Chhikara at No. 3 (6-0, 6-1) and sophomore
Ty Gelijns at No. 6 (6-1, 6-0).
The Rangers continue their season on Wednesday, when they host Moravian University at 4 p.m. in a Landmark Conference affair.
