MADISON, N.J. –The Drew University men's tennis team won the doubles point before capturing three of the six singles matches to come away with a 4-3 Landmark Conference win over Moravian University on Wednesday in the Simon Forum.
The Rangers (8-7, 5-2 LC) won their fourth straight Landmark Conference match and handed Moravian (11-6, 5-2 LC) just its second conference loss of the year.
Junior
Jesse Faro and senior
Josh Kline won in both singles and doubles play for Drew.
In doubles action, sophomore
Daniel Arcari and Faro won 6-3 at No. 1 while sophomore
Ty Gelijns and Kline prevailed 6-4 at No. 3.
In singles, Faro cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 1 while freshman
Dikshan Chhikara captured a 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 6-0 at No. 3. Kline picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4.
The Rangers continue their season on Friday, when they host The College of New Jersey at 2:30 on Senior Day.
