All-Landmark Conference Baseball Team
TOWSON, Md. – Three members of the Drew University baseball team have earned a spot on the All-Landmark Conference Team.

Anthony Diaz Jr. captured a spot on the second team while senior first baseman
Will Fritch and senior pitcher/first baseman
Raiden Yost garnered honorable mention.

Diaz and Yost were repeat all-conference selections while Fritch received his first career All-Landmark honor.

This past season, Diaz put together another outstanding season for the Rangers while starting 40 games. He finished as the team's leading hitter, batting a career-high .363, and he also led the team with a school-record 51 runs scored. In addition, he paced the team with 24 stolen bases, a mark that places him in a tie for fifth in team history. Diaz also performed well in Landmark Conference play, batting .357. He posted four, three-hit games throughout the season, including a 3-for-5 showing versus Catholic in his final outing. In addition, Diaz posted a career-high fielding percentage since becoming the team's starting shortstop in 2023, finishing at .941.

Among the Landmark Conference leaders, Diaz is currently second in steals, fourth in on-base percentage (.514), tied for fifth in walks (34), and 10th in batting average. For his career, he finished third in Drew history in runs (135), third in on-base percentage (.455), tied for fourth in hits (172), and tied for eighth in doubles (30).

Fritch turned in a strong season in his final year at The Forest. Playing 30 games and making 28 starts, he batted .283 while leading the Rangers in both home runs (five) and RBIs (31). In one of his top performances, he finished 6-for-9 with seven RBIs and a grand slam in a doubleheader sweep at Landmark Conference opponent Juniata College. He also slugged home runs in non-conference wins over William Paterson and CCNY as well as a Landmark Conference victory at Moravian and a conference matchup versus Catholic. Fritch ended the season batting .325 over his final 21 games.

On the Landmark Conference leaderboard, Fritch is currently tied for 10th in home runs and tied for second in sacrifice flies (six). For his career, he finished seventh in team history in home runs (11) and eighth in slugging percentage (.479).

Yost also performed well in his final season wearing the Blue and Green and set career-highs in nearly every offensive category. He batted .348 to finish second among the Rangers, and he also accumulated career-bests of 29 runs scored, 25 RBIs, and six doubles. In addition, he posted a school-record .560 on-base percentage on the strength of 32 hits, 30 walks, and 17 hit-by-pitch. His OBP also leads the Landmark Conference and ranks seventh in Division III. Yost was also a strong contributor in Landmark Conference action, batting .333 over 20 conference outings.

On the mound, Yost finished 2-2 with a 4.45 ERA and 29 strikeouts over seven starts and over 28 1/3 innings pitched. His victories were both in Landmark Conference play, as he allowed just one run on two hits over five innings at Scranton before scattering six hits and two runs in six innings versus Moravian.

For his career, Yost batted .336 and collected 91 hits while posting a school-record .493 on-base percentage over three seasons of play after arriving as a transfer.

The Rangers finished the season 19-21 and 9-15 in Landmark Conference play.
