MENDHAM, N.J. – The Drew University men's golf "B" team placed second among 11 teams at the FDU-Florham Invitational on Monday at the Mendham Golf & Tennis Club.
The Rangers shot a 316 and finished behind only Kean University (303).
Junior
Ray Kim and senior
Liam Larkin each tied for sixth in the field of 61, carding a 5-over 77. Kim, competing as an individual, posted one birdie and shot even-par on 12 holes. Larkin notched a pair of birdies and parred nine others.
Freshman
Noah Erickson and senior
Ryan Ricci were among a three-way tie for 10th, with each posting a 79. Erickson fired an eagle on the par-5 third hole while Ricci logged a pair of birdies.
Senior
Shiv Bhaskar completed the team scoring, shooting an 81 to finish in a four-way tie for 14th place while recording a pair of birdies. Classmate
Max Conklin was also in action and placed in a four-way for 28th with an 85, which included two birdies.
The Rangers are back in action on Sunday and next Monday when the "A" team competes at The Gauntlet, held at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.
