PURCHASE, N.Y. – Four different Rangers scored a goal and the Drew University field hockey team won its second game in a row to start the season with a 5-1 victory at Manhattanville University in a non-conference matchup Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman
Bella Fini posted one goal and one assist while junior
Beth Kelly made five saves for the Rangers (2-0), who led 2-0 at the end of the first quarter and opened the game on a 3-0 run.
The Valiants edged the Rangers 17-15 in shots, but Drew outshot the hosts 5-0 in the opening quarter. Fini put the Rangers on the scoreboard just over five minutes into the game when she drilled in her first collegiate goal before junior defender

Neither side scored in the second quarter, when Kelly made her first two saves and the two sides went to the intermission with the Drew leading 2-0.
