MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's soccer team took on a nationally-ranked opponent for the first time this season and the No. 20 Profs came away with a 5-0 victory in Ranger Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Five different players scored a goal for Rowan (5-1), which reached the NCAA Division III tournament last season.
The Profs took a 2-0 lead in the first half before pulling away with three tallies in the second stanza.
Sophomore
Dani Iannelli collected five first-half saves for the Rangers (3-3-1) before junior
Sarah Crowley played the second half.
The Rangers continue their season on Tuesday, when they visit cross-town rival FDU-Florham at 7 p.m. in another non-conference tilt.
