TOWSON, Md. – Freshman Bella Fini and junior Beth Kelly have swept the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week Awards.
 
Fini, a forward, was named the Offensive Athlete of the Week while Kelly, a goalie, earned Defensive AOW honors.
 
It was the second time this season that Drew swept the Landmark's weekly honors, following Kelly and Emily Caporrino back on Sept. 8.
 
Fini continued her torrid start, racking up four goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Rangers. In a 3-2 overtime victory at Eastern University this past Wednesday, she scored all three of her team's goals, including the game-winner six minutes into the extra session – good for her second hat trick in three games. She also posted one goal and one assist in Drew's 3-0 win over FDU-Florham this past Saturday.
 
For the season, Fini has poured in 21 points on nine goals and three assists. She leads the Landmark Conference in points and is tied for the conference lead in goals.
 
Kelly posted a 0.95 goals-against average and a .867 save percentage while playing all 126 minutes between the pipes over Drew's two victories last week. In the win over Eastern, she made a season-high nine saves, including stops on a pair of potential game-winning shots in overtime. Kelly followed up with four saves in the victory over FDU, which marked her second shutout of the season.
 
So far this year, Kelly has recorded a 1.75 goals-against average and a .707 save percentage while playing all but 15 minutes.
 
The Rangers (6-1), off to their best start since 2013, continue their schedule on Wednesday, when they visit Western Connecticut State University at 7 p.m. in a non-conference outing.
