MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's tennis team opened its 2025-26 season with a 7-7-0 loss to Pratt Institute on Saturday at the Drew Tennis Complex.
 
The Cannoneers (3-0) opened the match by winning the doubles point with victories at all three doubles matches.
 
Pratt went on to win all six singles contests. Winning seven total games for the Rangers were juniors Danielle Pettoni at No. 2 (6-3, 6-4) and Kapriana Payami at No. 4 (6-4, 6-3).
 
Drew plays its only other match of the fall next Saturday with a non-conference dual match at Manhattanville University starting at noon.
