MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's tennis team took on some tough competition on Sunday, facing The College of New Jersey and Dickinson College in a pair of non-conference matches inside the Simon Forum.
Both TCNJ and Dickinson won by a final of 7-0.
Against TCNJ, the Rangers played their closest match at No. 5 singles, where junior
Danielle Pettoni lost 8-4 in an eight-game pro set.
Versus Dickinson, sophomore
Madison Williams and senior
Natalia Zamora gave Dickinson a run at No. 1 doubles, but the Red Devils won 7-5. In singles play, Pettoni lost just 8-6 at the No. 5 spot while junior
Kapriana Payami won four games in a loss at No. 6.
The Rangers pick up their schedule on Saturday, March 7, when they visit William College in a non-conference tilt starting at 1 p.m.
