MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's basketball team will visit Elizabethtown College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the Landmark Conference championship tournament.
 
The Rangers (13-12, 8-10 LC) earned the No. 6 seed in the conference playoffs while the Blue Jays (18-7, 14-4 LC) captured the No. 3 seed. The winner of the game will advance to take on No. 2-seeded Susquehanna University in the semifinals on Thursday.
 
In the other first-round game, No. 5 seed Moravian University will visit No. 4 Catholic University, with the winner visiting No. 1 University of Scranton on Thursday.
 
The semifinal winners will meet in the conference final on Saturday at the highest remaining seed. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championship.
 
Under 10th-year Head Coach John Olenowski, the Rangers will be making their third consecutive appearance in the Landmark Conference Championship tournament and their fourth in the last five years.
 
When the two sides met earlier this season, the Blue Jays captured a 59-39 decision on Dec. 3 in Elizabethtown, then edged the Rangers 60-59 in overtime on Feb. 4 in Madison.
 
For the season, junior guard Olivia Aliotta has led the Rangers in scoring (8.7 ppg) and rebounding (6.1 rpg) while senior forward Gianna Pica is the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 8.4 points per night. Junior guard Amy Rachilla leads the team in steals (1.7 spg) and is second in assists (2.6 apg) and third in scoring (7.7 ppg). Senior guard Maddie Beyer has contributed 7.3 points per game and leads the team in both assists (2.8 apg) and 3-pointers made (35). In addition, sophomore guard Jocelyn Kingsley has contributed 6.9 points per game while senior guard senior center Brenna Hezel has registered a team-high 1.0 blocked shots per game.
