The Drew University women's golf team will look continue the strong start to its 2025-26 season as it resumes action with the spring portion of its schedule.
Under second-year Head Coach
Lucas Artigliere C'23, the Rangers placed third at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview back in October, capping a stretch in which the team placed in the top-three at four of its five events, including a victory at The Melee.
Drew is also coming off a 2024-25 season in which it finished as the Landmark Conference runner-up. The team won five of its 10 events a year ago and averaged a 329.3 per round – a team record by over 16 strokes.
This year, the majority of last season's team returns, including all five starters who earned All-Landmark Conference honors. Leading the way will be sophomore
Josephine Nguyen, last year's Landmark Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
Nguyen claimed medalist honors in her Landmark Conference Championship debut last season, winning the title by six strokes. For the season, she averaged a team-leading average of 76.3 over 15 rounds. She picked up right where she left off this past fall, when she posted a 77.3 over nine rounds. She won a pair of events, including five-stroke victory at the Landmark Fall Preview.
Senior
Roxy Riles also returns to help lead the Rangers after recording an average of 81.9 during the fall season. Last year, she earned First Team All-Landmark Conference honors for the third year in a row after placing fourth at the conference championship. Riles averaged an 80.7 for the 2024-25 campaign while competing in all 15 rounds.
Sophomore
Cassie Sengul is also back after posting an 84.3 over three rounds this past fall. Last year, she gained Second Team All-Landmark Conference recognition by virtue of her eighth-place showing at the conference championship. She registered an 84.1 over 13 rounds throughout the year.
Sophomore
Isabella Borte also returns after a fall in which she averaged a 90.4 over nine rounds. She captured All-Landmark Conference Honorable Mention a year ago, when she placed 15th at the Landmark Championships and averaged an 88.3 while shooting all 15 rounds for the season.
Senior
Emily Rhode rounds out Drew's returning all-conference performers after landing honorable mention status as well last season, when she placed 14th at the conference championship and registered a 90.9 over 11 rounds for the year. During the fall, she logged a 91.6 over seven rounds.
Junior
Dabin Lee provides additional depth for the Rangers. She averaged a 97.5 over six rounds during the fall season and a 95.6 over five rounds during the 2024-25 season.
Freshman
Kacey Winters will also look to make her mark for the Rangers this spring.
The Rangers open their spring season on Saturday and Sunday at The Ruckus, held at Williamsburg National Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va. Drew will participate in three additional events before competing at the Landmark Conference Championships April 25-26 at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Shawnee on Delaware, Pa.
