SCRANTON, Pa. – The Drew University baseball team dropped a non-conference decision at Marywood University on Wednesday, with the Pacers claiming a 10-0 decision.

Sophomore
Zach Maxwell led the Rangers (17-14) at the plate, finishing 2-for-3, while classmate
Connor Stokoe added a double.

Marywood scored in five different innings and took a 2-0 lead in the first. The Pacers added one in the second and broke it open with three in the fourth and two in the fifth before setting the final score with two in the seventh.

Freshman
Mikey Sica started and pitched 3 2/3 innings for the Rangers before freshman
Ryan Dewland tossed 1 1/3 innings. JuniorÂ
Alex Feeney followed with two innings before freshman
Marco Sozio pitched one scoreless frame in his collegiate debut.

The Rangers return to action this weekend, when they travel to the University of Scranton for a three-game series. Drew takes on the Royals in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon before finishing the series with a single game on Sunday at noon.
