WASHINGTON – For the second match in a row, the Drew University men's tennis team took on an opponent that was undefeated in Landmark Conference play, and the Rangers came up on the short end of a 5-2 decision at Catholic University on Saturday.

Daniel Arcari captured a 6-0, 6-0 decision at No. 2 to improve to 7-0 versus Landmark Conference opponents this season. In addition, junior
Ty Gelijns prevailed by a score of 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6) at No. 4.
Drew returns to action on Sunday, when it visits Goucher College in another Landmark Conference tilt starting at noon. The Rangers trailed the Gophers for third place in the conference standings by just one in the win column, as Goucher enters the match with a conference mark of 6-2.
