WASHINGTON – The Drew University women's tennis team opened a two-match weekend with a 5-2 loss at Catholic University in Landmark Conference action on Saturday.
Catholic stayed perfect at 7-0 in Landmark play with the victory.
The Rangers (9-9, 5-3 LC) earned two singles victories in the day. Sophomore
Nicole Kalorin won by a final of 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 while junior
Danielle Pettoni earned an epic victory at No. 5, capturing a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (17-15) decision to improve to 7-1 in Landmark Conference matches this season.
The Rangers close out their Landmark Conference regular-season schedule on Sunday, when they visit Goucher College at noon.
