TOWSON, Md. – The Drew University men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a 4-0 loss at Goucher College on Saturday.
Despite the loss, the Rangers (10-8, 6-3 LC) qualify for the Landmark Conference Championship tournament as the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 University of Scranton in a first-round match on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The match opened with doubles play, and the Rangers earned a victory at the No. 1 spot. Junior

Jesse Faro captured a 6-2 decision to finish 7-2 in Landmark Conference play this season.
The Gophers won at both the second and third spots to earn the doubles point, taking a 1-0 lead.
Goucher went on to win at Nos. 1-3 singles to clinch the match, and the decision was made to stop play before players at Nos. 4-6 singles were able to finish.
