Roxy Riles have bolted to first and second place, respectively, after the opening round of the Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championships on Saturday at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.

As a team, the Rangers shot a 346 and find themselves in third place among 10 teams. Catholic University leads the way with a 335 while Susquehanna University is second with a 342. Elizabethtown College (379) and the University of Scranton (381) round out the top-five.

Competing in soggy conditions from an all-day rain, Nguyen fired a 6-over-par 78 – two strokes ahead of Riles, who is tied with Heidi Wegscheider of Moravian University. Nguyen, last year's Landmark Conference champion, shot a pair of birdies and parred 10 other holes. Riles also carded a pair of birdies and shot even par on eight holes.

Drew's third finisher on Sunday was senior
Emily Rhode, who shot a 91 and is tied for 16th in the field of 47. She birdied the par-3 16th hole and shot even-par on six other holes. Sophomore
Isabella Borte completed the team score with a 97, placing her in a six-way tie for 24th place, while junior
Dabin Lee was also in action, shooting a 104 to place her in a tie for 37th place.

The second and final round of the championship will be held on Sunday back on Shawnee.
