WAYNE, N.J. – The Drew University baseball team stacked up a season-high 19 hits en route to a 13-1 non-conference victory at William Paterson University on Tuesday.

Eight different hit safely for Drew (16-9) while six different Rangers recorded multiple hits.

On the mound, freshman
Mikey Sica turned in another stellar outing, allowing just one run on five hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings. He also tossed seven shutout innings in his last start a week ago versus Mount Saint Vincent.

Junior
Tyler Giordano finished 4-for-4 with three RBIs for the Rangers while senior
Nick Bisaccia went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs. Sophomore
Anthony Vallaro went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored, freshman
Anthony Tetto was 3-for-5 with a double, and freshman
Nick Donofrio finished 2-for-4. Sophomore
Frank Master added two hits, including one triple.

Drew scored four runs in the top of the second to go up 5-1, then piled on four again in the fourth. Bisaccia smacked a two-run double as part of a five-hit second while Giordano capped a six-hit fourth with a two-run single that made it 10-1.

After William Paterson scored in the first, SIca (2-0) blanked the Pioneers from the second through the seventh. Senior

Ryan Dewland fired one scoreless inning of relief each.

The Rangers return to Landmark Conference action on Wednesday, when they visit Moravian University in a single game starting at 3:30 p.m.
