CSC Academic All-District Baseball Team

Frank Master has named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Baseball Team.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be nominated for the CSC Academic All-America program in baseball, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average. They must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or must start in at least 66 percent of the team's contests. Pitchers must make 17 appearances or pitch 35 innings.
Master was also chosen as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 23.
An accounting and business double major with a 3.83 GPA, Master put together an outstanding season as the team's starting centerfielder this past year and was recognized with All-Landmark Conference First Team, ABCA Second Team All-Region, and D3baseball.com Third Team All-Region honors. He cracked a school-record 63 hits on his way to a .404 batting average, a mark that ties him for eighth in program history. He also collected six doubles and three triples while leading the team with 46 runs scored, a mark that ranks second in team history, and tied for second on the team in stolen bases (16). He was even better in Landmark Conference play, batting .421 with 28 runs and 10 steals. Defensively, he was perfect in 91 chances (90 putouts, one assist).
The Rangers finished the season 19-21 and were in contention for a Landmark Conference playoff berth up until their final series of the year.
Drew finished the season with a 25-17 record, posting the second-most wins in team history, and went 13-11 in Landmark Conference play to earn the No. 5 seed in the conference's postseason tournament. The Rangers went on to upset top-seeded Wilkes in the opening round for the squad's first postseason victory in 14 years.
