Coming off another successful season, the Drew University field hockey will look to continue its rise in the Landmark Conference as it takes to the turf in 2026 under fifth-year Head Coach Summer Kortmann.
 
The Rangers are coming off a season in which they reached the Landmark Conference Championships for the second year in a row. The squad posted a 13-6 record, including a 5-4 mark in conference play, which earned the team the No. 4 seed and the team's first postseason home game in 12 years.
 
This year, Drew brings back 13 athletes from last year's squad, including eight starters, six of its top seven scorers, and three All-Landmark Conference performers.
 
Offensively, the Rangers bring back the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year in sophomore forward Bella Fini, who racked up 33 points on 14 goals and five assists. Also a Second Team All-Landmark Conference selection, Fini netted a pair of hat tricks and scored a goal in nine different games.
 
Junior midfielder Emily Caporrino also returns after a big offensive season in which she accumulated 26 points on 11 goals and four assists, earning All-Landmark Conference second-team honors as well. Junior midfielder Ellie Kopec rounds out the team's trio of all-conference recipients, as she captured second-team honors a year ago after posting two goals and four assists.
 
Senior midfielder Emma Rider is also back as one of the squad's most experienced players. A Second Team All-Landmark Conference in 2023, she posted one goal and two assists last season, and for her career she has started all 55 games over the last three years.
 
Sophomore forward Karine Johnson also returns after posting three goals and three assists while playing all 19 games during her debut season last year. Sophomore forward Elizabeth Harbeson is back after playing in every game and making four starts while senior forward Caroline Larsen returns after playing in 10 games a year ago.
 
Junior transfer and forward Leigha Clapp will provide additional depth to the offense, as will freshman forward Emma Kadubec and first-year midfielders Allison Brady and Meghan O'Brien.
 
At the defensive end, senior Liriana Seferovic returns after establishing herself as a two-way threat last season, when she finished third on the team with eight goals to go with one assist.
 
The team brings back three additional defensive starters in senior Carolyn Brown, junior Samantha Izzo, and sophomore Natalie D'Onofrio. Brown played in 18 games and made 16 starts last season, posting a team-leading four defensive saves, while Izzo started all 19 games and posted one DS. D'Onofrio appeared in all 19 games, including 17 starts.
 
Sophomore Zyen Haynesworth also returns after playing all 19 games and making three starts last year, when she also scored a pair of goals and posted one defensive save. Sophomore Julia Stoff is also back after playing in six games while freshmen Bridget Gloster, Emily Kudlacik, and Lia Perrone will provide additional options.
 
In goal, the Rangers will turn to sophomore Ash Conrad and freshman Vanessa Pennella.
 
Drew kicks off its season on Tuesday, when it hosts Neumann in a non-conference tilt starting at 4:30 p.m. The squad's Landmark Conference opener is set for Sept. 26 at home versus Goucher.
