MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's soccer team played Ursinus College to a 0-0 in the final match of the Drew Fall Festival Sunday afternoon in Ranger Stadium.
The Rangers' stingy defense limited the Bears (3-1-1) to just one shot on goal for the afternoon. Ursinus was held scoreless for the first time this season after scoring 10 goals in their previous two games combined.
Drew (0-1-3) earned its first shutout of the season while junior
Hayden Scotti made one save en route to her first career clean sheet.
Lexie Albaeck turned aside a pair of shots for Ursinus.
In the opening half, the Bears outshot the Rangers 4-1 and had their placed their lone shot on frame.

Hannah Stahl each placed a shot on goal for Drew. The Rangers had one of its best scoring chances in the 56th minute, when senior
Sophia Lara broke free on the left side of the field and sent a cross to junior
Megan Jozak, whose long-range shot missed high of the goal.
Drew also had a series of three corner kicks two minutes apart midway through the second half but were held to one shot during the stretch. Shortly thereafter, Ursinus earned consecutive corners and was also held to a shot that was off target.
The Rangers pick up their schedule on Saturday, when they visit Arcadia University in a non-conference outing starting at 3 p.m.
